SMOKED is a new artisan producer of gourmet smoked and cured game products based in Rotherfield, East Sussex, founded by popular food blogger Julianna Barnaby and business partner Jon.

SMOKED produces gastro inspired, locally sourced food made from great Sussex ingredients, to create exciting smoked game products guaranteed to light up any dinner plate.  The range includes Cinnamon and Orange Smoked Pigeon Breasts, Smoked peppered loin of venison and Harissa Style Smoked Pheasant Breasts, priced between £6.00 - £7.50 per pack. 

“We've had an interest in smoking for a long time and have been trialling our products at supper clubs but decided to take it a step further after we got really positive feedback”, explains SMOKED co-founded Julianna Barnaby, adding: “SMOKED is about bringing two of our favourite things, game and smoking into our products and getting people to try something a bit different.”

All the game used by SMOKED lives and thrives in the beautiful Wealden Downland, which surrounds Rotherfield and is prepared by local gamekeeper and butcher Peter, before being smoked and cured using oak from a nearby timber yard, various top secret cures, blended from spices, herbs, sugar and salt.
