Adsdean Farm is a working farm at the foot of the Downs situated in the beautiful Kingley Vale. The shop is owned and managed by the Hoare family and there are 3 generations working in the business. They have been farming there since 1952 and the farm shop opening in 1969 and specialising in their own Beef and Pork.
What do you stock?
Mostly meat, our own Beef, free range Pork and Bacon. Lamb from the farm next door.fresh and frozen. We also sell a range of cheeses, our own cooked meats, plus frozen goods.
Where’s it sourced?
We make our own sausages, bacon and prepared our own cooked meats.

What’s your favourite item(s) in the shop and why?
Sausages, hand linked and made with our own free range Pork. The smoked sausages are a particular delicacy.
Which are your favourite local producers and why?
Mr. Gauntlett next door produces beautiful lambs off the South Downs
Apart for selling local produce what else happens at your farm/farmshop which readers might be interested in?
You can always park up and go for a walk straight into the Downs and inspect our farming first hand.
If visiting, what else should readers make sure they do whist in the area?
Visit one of the many good pubs within walking distance; The Victoria at West Marden is particularly pleasant.
