
This month see’s the triumphant return of the Festival of Sussex Tipples, again taking place at Martlets Hall in Burgess Hill, from Friday September 30th to Sunday October 1st.
Organised by www.beermatt.co.uk, Sussex leading supplier of local beers and ales, the Festival of Sussex Tipples is a celebration of the county’s finest brews, bringing together over 30 ales from breweries including Dark Star, Kissingate, WJ King, Hepworths, Arundel and Ballards, plus local lagers and ciders from Hepworths, Wobblegate Cider, plus many more.
Advanced Tickets are priced at £5 for the evening sessions and £4 for Saturday afternoon. There are 3 sessions to choose from, Friday 30th September 6pm-11pm, Saturday lunch 12-4:30pm and Saturday night 6pm-11pm. Tickets can be purchased online at www.beermatt.co.uk, or in person from the Martlets Hall or the Brewers Arms pub, London Road Burgess Hill.
Hot food will be provided by local caterers, Loaf.
Speaking to Devour Sussex, organiser Matthew Wright said: “Last year we had a great mix of people from across the age spectrum, and this year we’re hoping to build on that relaxed and fun environment, with background music and a live band on the Saturday night. Tickets are now on sale and limited to 300 per session. To guarantee entry please buy in advance and we look forward to seeing you at the festival.”
